Wednesday 3rd March

Good morning Year 6.

This morning, I would like you to pray the 'Stations of the Cross'. This is a way for us to focus on Jesus' suffering and sacrifice for us as we prepare for Easter. You may select which one you wish to do from the videos below.

When I wake up in the morning light
And the sunlight hurts my eyes
And something without warning, love
Bears heavy on my mind

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
When someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
And when someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

Once you have watched the video, see which other symbols or people from the dream that you can add. e.g.  the baby covered in feathers, the blackbird's nest, the baby flapping her wings, knives, saws and scissors, the doctors.Think carefully about the images and symbols in the dream and what this might tell us about Michael's state of mind.

Write down and sketch each symbol that you did not do yesterday, then write a brief note explaining what the significance of this symbol is. (You can do this on another copy of the worksheet or just draw and write directly into your exercise book).
