Welcome to our Nursery Class Page!

September 2022

Dear Parents and Carers.

Nursery are busy settling in and learning all the routines and they are having lots of fun playing and making new friends.

To help your child with this settling in period, please could you ensure that all clothes are labelled (including coats, shoes and hats etc.) Please ensure that all drinks are clearly labelled and that your child can open it themselves.

Please ensure that your child brings in the brown reading packet each day and then we can send back any messages via the link book. Unfortunately, we do not have any space for large rucksacks so please do not send these in or any extra bags.

Please check your link book every day for messages and use this book to correspond any quick messages to us that we need to know for that day.

Any inhalers need to be sent in a zip-locked bag with a clear name label.

Please ensure you fill out and send back the 'Getting to know you' form.

Forest School has not started yet, we will let the children settle in for a little while longer and we will let you know when this will start in advance.

If you need to send us an email, please could you include both Mrs Edgerton and Mrs Lingwood's email so that hopefully any issues can be dealt with as soon as possible. (Please see email addresses below)

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Edgerton and Mrs Lingwood.

Forest School

Forest School will be every Wednesday afternoon. For those children who will be at this session we ask that they attend in non-uniform and wear clothes that they do not mind getting very muddy/wet and dirty. E.g old jogging bottoms and a fleece. Preferably wear an old coat too.

On that day only can they also bring in a named carrier bag some wellies and waterproof trousers or waterproof all-in-one suit that we can put on them when it is time. In Winter can they also have a winter hat in this bag, and in Summer a summer hat.

******All clothes must be labelled clearly*********
