Nursery

Welcome to our Nursery Class Page!

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are so excited to welcome your children into our Nursery. This is the Nursery Page and all important information will be put on here. We look forward to your allocated visit with your child before hand during the week beginning the 7th September and thank you to those who have already confirmed. Here are some reminders for you regarding general timetable which will begin the week beginning the 21st September when all of your children will be with us :

Woodlands Outdoor Area (Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons) - We will go out in all weather so please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat and wellingtons. Please write your child's name in their wellingtons and their school shoes. Please also send wellingtons in a carrier bag with you child's name on.

PE - Friday mornings

Please ensure that you have sent their kit in (they can leave this in school).

Please check that your child has a coat and jumper/cardigan each day  and that is clearly named. We spend a lot of time outdoors and we do not want them to be cold!

Please remember to check the home link each day and return back to us, we will look at them every day if you need to let us know about anything.

Please tell your children how excited we are to meet them and we know they will have lots of fun in our Nursery! We are thrilled to be at the start of their journey through school,

July 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

We want to thank you all for your kind gifts, cards and messages of support, we are so touched and grateful. We look forward to seeing all of our Nursery children all grown up in Reception in September! We know they will be fantastic and we look forward to and hope for a much more settled year. For those who may be going to another school we say a big goodbye and we know they will be fantastic too! Please tell them we are thinking of them.

We will leave up the school closure learning on the website for any ideas for you over the summer if you are stuck, especially for something to do on a rainy day! Keep sharing stories with your children and encouraging their mark-making, name writing and especially 'duck fingers' ready for September! Most of all have as much fun as you can outside with your children making precious memories!

Please have a lovely summer and we thank you again for how you have supported us and your children,

Mrs Edgerton, Mrs Lingwood and the Nursery Team
