Welcome to our Nursery Class Page!

April 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed the lovely weather. Now that the weather is warming up a little please send your child in with a sun hat.  Please ensure your child's name is in the hat. If it is a warmer day they may not need a thick coat but please send them in a thinner waterproof one as the weather can change very quickly. Please ensure on sunnier days that you have applied suncream on your child before they go to school.

Thank you for all the bottle tops you have been sending in, we will make some lovely pictures with them.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Nursery Team

8th March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

Here we are in our first week back in after lockdown and we are so excited for us all to be back in together! Thank you for all your continued support during home learning and for your kind messages.

Now we are back in, here are some updates:

Forest School will now be on a Wedneday afternoon, so please ensure that children have wellies in school for that day . PE will be on a Friday morning although sometimes we may go to Forest School instead, so again could wellies be ready for Friday mornings too, just in case!

Please keep checking your home link books, we check them in each morning and they are ideal for passing messages on for that day. If you need to email us any information please could you address the emails to myself and Mrs McCabe, this will ensure that we will pick them up and get back to you as soon as possible.

Please can we remind you to label everything: drinks bottles/hats/jumpers/wellies/shoes etc.

As a school, we are trying to create a positive thoughts board on the class website with personal thoughts of what we are all looking forward to once the current lockdown period is finally over. Please take some time with your child talking about what they are looking forward to once the current situation is over. Then, click on the link below and add their ideas (yours too if you want) onto the school 'Padlet' board using this link: https://en-gb.padlet.com/emily_keedwell/nasyqeby80pqc23r

We look forward to the rest of this term and next! Thank you again for all your support,

Mrs Edgerton, Mrs McCabe and the Nursery Team
