Values and Virtues

Throughout the school year at St. Anne's, we focus on Values and Virtues statements and consider how we can live better lives by thinking of these. The focus of the first half term 2019-20 will be GRATEFUL AND GENEROUS.

Please see below for examples of the children's work from last academic year.

The values and virtues that were the focus during the Spring 2 half term were LEARNED AND WISE. The children thought about how these two words applied to their every day lives and to their faith and they wrote definitions for a class display. Throughout the half term the class wrote nominations for class members who they thought displayed this value and virtue. Well done to Isabella and Henry who were chosen for our Value and Virtue half term award for Spring 2!

The Values and Virtues statements that we will be our focus in lessons, assemblies and throughout school life during the Spring 1 half term are ELOQUENT and TRUTHFUL. We will be completing work about these words during RE lessons this week and children will have the opportunity to add to an online Padlet noticeboard to recognise people who have been eloquent and truthful both in school and out.
In the meantime, please add to our online noticeboard Padlet from last half term to acknowledge those around you who are faith-filled and hopeful:
