Woodlands Forest School

With Mrs Robinson we have enjoyed making dens, feeding the birds with our handmade natural bird feeders and using natural and recycled materials to create craft. We have also enjoyed team games and connecting with the environment. We love embracing the outdoors.

Spring 2024

We are having fun In Woodland School this spring. We have been identifying tree leaves and common wild plants. We have learned to use simple tools such as hammers and drills. Nature art is an activity we enjoy, look at out natural printing using dandelions and buttercups.

Welcome to Woodlands Forest School at St. Anne's.

Children at St. Anne's have a wonderful opportunity to visit our wonderful and exciting Woodland Area. Here the children have a chance to spend time in God’s world,  explore nature, work together in teams and take part in activities that benefit their mental and physical health. Sometimes classes support their curriculum with activities where they can explore things without the constrains of the classroom. Forest School is very child-led and a chance for children to achieve, relax and explore, develop their independence and resilience.  Pupil feedback is always very positive about Forest School, children love having hot chocolate, listening to a story together, getting muddy and just enjoying the peace and awe and wonder of nature.

What can you do in the garden or a park or a nature trail?
