Monday 19th July
Dear Year 1 parents and children,
We are so disappointed and sad that we will not be spending the last 3 days of Year 1 together and we know you must be feeling the same. It is very frustrating, however, we must thank God for the wonderful time we have had together this year. We would like to thank you, parents and children, for your wonderful support and all of your hard work throughout this year, especially during school closure.
If you are searching for some work to do over the next few days, do look at the homework section for this half term as there may still be lots you haven't had chance to do yet. You might want to spend some time outdoors enjoying this wonderful weather. Maybe you could look for different types of leaves, trees and flowers, draw and label them. If you have some pebbles outside, you could do some simple addition and subtraction and maybe some arrays. But most importantly of all, spend some time reading - choose your favourite books, find a shady corner of the garden to read and enjoy!
Tomorrow morning you have a Google Meet with Miss Jones between 9:30 and 10:30. The details have been sent by parent mail. Below this letter is a PDF that Miss Jones would like you to print off ready for the meet if you are able. Have a wonderful time!
On Wednesday morning, details to follow, we will do our own Google Meet so that we can all say our goodbyes. Why not think about your best memory of Year 1 so that you can share it with us all. We look forward to seeing you then!
Remember children - you are all ... amazing!
With love from

THE CHICKS ARE HERE!
A very Happy New Year to all our wonderful Year 1 parents and children and a huge thank you for your messages, cards and generous Christmas gifts. Mrs Windsor, Miss Oldbury and I are extremely grateful.
We look forward to seeing the children's happy faces back in school on Monday 4th January.
Welcome to Year 1
A very warm welcome back to St. Anne's to you all. Over the last few days we have been busy bees in the Year 1 classroom, preparing for the start of the new year and eagerly looking forward to meeting and getting to know your children - our new Year 1 class! We will be spending the first few days gently introducing the children to their new classroom and new routines whilst maintaining the increased safety measures of sanitising, washing and working within our 'Year 1 bubble'. Throughout the year, I will be adding more information to the website so do check in on the Year 1 class page regularly. In the meantime, if you have any queries, questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me by email.
I look forward to meeting and working with you all to ensure a smooth transition into Year 1 for our children.
