Happy New Year! I hope that everyone has returned refreshed after the long Christmas break. May I take this opportunity to say a massive ‘thank you’ for your generous gifts and cards?
The hard work continues in Year 6 during this half term.
Values and Virtues
Our values and virtues for this half term are ‘Eloquent and Truthful’. Year 6 are looking out for those who live out these values and virtues in our everyday school lives. The children will be able to nominate class members for their ‘Eloquent and Truthful’ actions and words.
For this half term children will need outdoor PE kits and trainers. Children are reminded not to wear watches or jewellery and girls will need to take their studs out before the PE lesson commences. We will be having P.E on Wednesday or Thursday with Mr. O’Shaunessey and Mr. Walker.
Weekly homework in Year 6 will continue to be sent home on a Friday. You should have everything in your folders. Please hand in homework by Thursday.
Well done to all of those children who are completing three activities per week in their reading journals. (See homework section for further information).
Thank you for your continued support and if you have any queries or questions, please come and speak to me at the beginning or end of the day or via email.
