Values and Virtues

The Value and Virtue that we are focusing on for the Spring half term 1 is 'Eloquent and Truthful'.

Eloquent

In Year 4 we will try to be eloquent by:

Communicating our emotions, beliefs or questions

·                      Speaking up for what is truly right

·                      Being kind in our words

                       Thinking before we speak

Expressing our ideas or opinions clearly

·                      Using our ability to speak about our thoughts and God’s love persuasively

·                      Using our words with love and compassion

Speaking in a way that will not hurt others

·                      Using our creativity to communicate Jesus’ love and teachings

·

Truthful

In Year 4 we think that being truthful means:

Being honest with yourself as well as others

·                      Don’t lie because the truth will always come out

·                      Trying to tell the truth even when you might be in trouble

·                      Being truthful is being trusting of others

·                      Following in God's footsteps by being truthful

Being faithful to ourselves and to Jesus

·                      Knowing that Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.
