Work to be proud of

We have read the Tin forest and the Paperbag Prince in English , we compared the 2 books, particularly the settings. We then created our own settings. maybe you can guess that both of the settings were the junkyard, but in the Tin forest his setting changed to a beautiful forest.

Our settings

We also made stone age jewellery using clay ready for our Journey through Time day.
In George's Marvellous medicine, grandma gets taller and then shorter when she is given the medicine by George. We made growing and shrinking grandmas. Have a look!

George's marvellous Medicine Grandmas

We have been writing about grandma in George's Marvellous Medicine. Have a look at some of the work children have produced in our class.

Amelia's work and Archie's work

Geography- In Geogrpahy we have been plotting all the shops and services on Blackwood Road on our own maps. We also made a display of Blackwood Road.

Our display

Science- We have been learning about our bones in our bodies. Then we made our own skeletons.

Skeletons

We have made skeletons using pasta. We decided which size and shape of pasta would be best use for each particular bone.
